These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoyce has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gorrila displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hoyce throws out the jab.
Gorrila jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Hoyce on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Hoyce connects with a leg kick. Gorrila looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gorrila throws the left hand but Hoyce avoids the punch easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hoyce throws out a counter right but Gorrila avoids it with no problem.
Hoyce tests Gorrila's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hoyce cracks Gorrila with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hoyce has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gorrila to stand back up!

Hoyce shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Gorrila takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Hoyce sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Gorrila bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
