PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Od Bulerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Pizirdeven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pizirdeven has chosen Hopsin - You Are My Enemy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulerk dives in and grabs Pizirdeven's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pizirdeven pushes down on Bulerk's head and hops out.
Bulerk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pizirdeven swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pizirdeven has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pizirdeven blocks a punch to the side of the head.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Pizirdeven gets control of Bulerk's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pizirdeven will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Bulerk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pizirdeven swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pizirdeven has eaten all the pies!

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bulerk clinches up against the cage.
Pizirdeven tries to pull guard but Bulerk holds him up against the cage and eventually Pizirdeven drops back down to his feet.
Bulerk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pizirdeven pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pizirdeven closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bulerk circles away.
Pizirdeven ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bulerk moves away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Od Bulerk.
