American fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

American tries to clinch there but Garrison circles away.
Garrison throws a shot from downtown. American moves away and avoids it.
American let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Garrison looks to land a right hand but American moved out of range.
Garrison misses the shot to the body.
Garrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
American is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Garrison.
American throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Garrison's waist but Garrison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing American off to one side.
American takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

American unleashes a big counter combination but Garrison bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

American shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garrison as he avoids it easily.

American throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
American tries to close the distance and clinch but Garrison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
American shoots in looking for a takedown but Garrison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing American's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

American tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garrison was well out of range. Poor timing from American.

American throws out a counter right but Garrison avoids it with no problem.

American fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Garrison, pushing him back against the cage.

American is trying to drag Garrison to the mat but Garrison just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Garrison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
