Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Alexs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chuck liddel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rocky Alexs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rocky Alexs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexs shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alexs was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
liddel wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Alexs is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But liddel has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from liddel!
Alexs wants to hit a switch here but liddel passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Alexs there!
liddel tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

liddel moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Alexs has worked his arm free - good work by Alexs!
liddel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

liddel wants to stand but Alexs is controlling his arm.
Alexs sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

liddel looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Alexs is trying to stand up here but liddel is controlling him well.
Alexs gets full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alexs uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Alexs lands with an overhand left.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
liddel on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Alexs lands a hook to the side of the head.

Alexs gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Alexs takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
liddel wants to get back to his feet.
Alexs uses his free foot to push down on liddel's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for liddel.
Alexs controlling his opponent.

liddel is working to avoid the ground and pound but Alexs connects with a decent elbow.

Alexs decides to stand back up.

and Alexs counters with a right hand to the body.
Alexs feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to liddel's calf.

Alexs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for liddel!
Alexs breaks from liddel's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Alexs throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! liddel has his hands clasped together but Alexs breaks the hold and liddel is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Alexs!
