The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlasov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Dixon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vlasov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Vlasov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Vlasov has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dixon can do anything to dispel that myth.
