Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitoshi shoots in for a takedown but Boom shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hitoshi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boom gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hitoshi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hitoshi wants to control from the top but Boom keeps moving.
Hitoshi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hitoshi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hitoshi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hitoshi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Boom pushes a forearm under Hitoshi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hitoshi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
