The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime throws the left hand but Taylor avoids the punch easily.

Optimus Prime dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Prime throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Taylor tumbling to the canvas!
Taylor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Prime's guard.
Taylor connects with a couple of short punches.

Prime is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Prime looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Prime is keen to just control but Taylor is a slippery customer.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prime makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Prime gets to his feet and stands over Taylor, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Taylor felt that one! Prime unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Taylor from any more punishment!
