Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Granville Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jestoni Alarcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alarcon fails with a takedown attempt.

Alarcon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Prince pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alarcon misses with a body shot.
Prince quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alarcon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Prince tries to stand but Alarcon is controlling from the bottom.
Prince trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Prince decides to stand back up. Prince steps back and let's Alarcon get back to his feet.

and Prince counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Alarcon is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Prince tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Alarcon manages to circle out of the way.

As Prince backs off Alarcon throws a huge counter combo but Prince manages to avoid it all.

Alarcon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Prince. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Prince wants to stand but Alarcon is controlling his posture from full guard.

Prince postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Prince will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Alarcon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prince wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Prince closes this distance looking for a takedown but Alarcon circles away.
Alarcon goes for a double leg but Prince avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Prince continues to drive forward.

Jestoni Alarcon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Alarcon is trying to push Prince away but Prince has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Prince can't get the takedown.
Alarcon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Alarcon is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Prince gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jestoni Alarcon seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Alarcon takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
