The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson slips a straight right by Scott.
Jackson throwing a counter right hand but Scott manages to avoid it.

Scott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Scott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jackson dodges the ground and pound from Scott.
Scott cracks Jackson with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jackson tries to improve position but can't.
Jackson is not content to let Scott control the position.
Scott tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Scott in side control, throwing shots but Jackson defends.
Jackson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jackson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jackson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Scott creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Scott is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jackson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Scott gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jackson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Scott lets go of the hold and Jackson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
