Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cleveland Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cleveland Wiggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Super White!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Vladimir Khabensky and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White closes the distance and clinches.
Wiggins leaning his opponent against the cage.

White tries for a takedown but Wiggins manages to get underhooks.
White fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White goes for a takedown in the clinch but Wiggins prevents it.
Cleveland Wiggins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Super White.

It looks like White might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Let's hope that White has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wiggins looks like he's trying to stand up.

White has Wiggins pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. White pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wiggins tumbling to the mat - White dives into Wiggins's guard.

Wiggins changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
White is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wiggins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
White tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wiggins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten White somewhat.

Wiggins looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! White has picked Wiggins up and slammed him! Wiggins can't keep hold of the triangle and White manages to pass to side control!

White decides to take the fight back to the feet.
White dives in and grabs Wiggins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wiggins pushes down on White's head and hops out.
Wiggins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
White has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cleveland Wiggins.
I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Super White rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
