Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Mill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Ring!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Ring lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ring counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ring connects with a crisp jab.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ring's guard.

Ring pushes Mill off and gets back to his feet.
Ring scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mill gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ring counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mill! Ring lets Mill back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Ken Ring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ring misses with a two punch combination.
Mill appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mill scores with a takedown into Ring's guard.
Ring is looking to stand up but Mill isn't so interested in that idea.
Mill passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ring is pushing Mill's head away, looking to escape. Mill manages to hold on to the position though.

Mill has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ring is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mill yanks on the arm and Ring is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mill.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kyle Mill!
