Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fidel Duberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lucas Bane has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lucas Bane seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duberry has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Bane fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duberry looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duberry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Duberry chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bane can pounce on him.

The crowd cheers as Duberry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bane doesn't seem phased though.
Duberry doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Duberry feints and then cracks Bane's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bane down.

Duberry was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Lucas Bane will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Duberry is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Bane screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A relieved looking Lucas Bane thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
