Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trouble Some (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vic Thory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Some comes to the cage accompanied by Von Hertzen Brothers - Coming Home. Thory comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sweet Victory kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 33 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Trouble Some!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vic Thory!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Thory has managed to clinch.
Some swings wildly with an uppercut but Thory uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Some.
Some holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Thory makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Thory digs a right hand underneath Some's ribcage. Some let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Thory misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Thory goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Thory misses with a punch on the inside.
Some is trying to break the clinch but Thory is controlling him.
Thory lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Some backwards.
A left hand lands to the body for Thory.
Thory lands a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Some blocking some punches.
Some throws a punch but it's blocked by Thory.
Thory blocks an uppercut.
Thory throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Thory breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Some takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice inside leg kick there by Thory. That's going to slow Some down.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Thory gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Some's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Some manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Thory sitting in guard here, content to control.
Thory throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Thory seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Some working a defensive guard here.
Some keeping moving, preventing Thory from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Some wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Thory is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Still in half guard, Thory seems content to control.
Thory working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Well, if Thory is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Thory looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Some with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Some trying to hold on to Thory's head to control him but Thory postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Some takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Some misses the jab.
Thory has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Thory takes a kick to the side of the head.
Some pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We've been told by Some's head coaches at KO Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Thory sizes up Some with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Some throws a hook but Thory avoids it easily.
Some misses with a looping right.
Some misses with a lunging right hand
and Thory counters with a leg kick.
Thory throws a lazy right hand but Some sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some tries a low kick but Thory avoids it.
Some misses with an uppercut.
Thory wants to counter the offense by Some and move into the clinch position.
Thory looks to throw the jab but Some is out of range.
Some appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Thory sizes up Some with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Some fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thory manages to avoid it.
Some moves out of range as Thory strikes.
Some wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Some avoids the body shot from Thory.
Thory lands a slapping body shot.
Some throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thory sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Some connects with the punch.
Trouble Some seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some misses the shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vic Thory dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Some throws a sloppy body shot
and Thory counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Some slips a jab from Thory.
Thory walks forward, straight into a front kick from Some.
Some misses with a kick to the body.
Thory moves out of range of the body kick from Some.
Some defending well as Thory loads up on a big left hand.
Thory is looking to clinch but Some is avoiding it.
Vic Thory seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Some looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Thory scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Some misses with a low kick.
Despite the aggression on Thory's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Some uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Thory.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thory is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Some is rocked!
Some closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Oh Some is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thory changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Some looks up at the clock. Bad move! Thory lands a right hand from hell, dropping Some. Thory pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

After winning the bout, Vic Thory thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
