The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Cucumber drags the fight down to the ground.
Mozapa wants to control from the top but Cucumber keeps moving.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cucumber is on top in guard.

Cucumber advances position into side control!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Mozapa has eaten all the pies!

Cucumber is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mozapa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cucumber tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Mozapa tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cucumber wants to stand but Mozapa has his arm trapped.
Mozapa tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cucumber wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Mozapa tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Cucumber fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Cucumber lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Mozapa tries to hold on but Cucumber pushes him away.

Mozapa tries to control Cucumber's body but Cucumber pushes him off. Mozapa squirms to his side and now Cucumber has his back!
Cucumber controls the action.
The referee is taking a good look at Mozapa as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Cucumber!
Cucumber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mozapa can't escape the position.
Cucumber biding his time, controlling Mozapa.

Cucumber has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Cucumber is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mozapa with him. Mozapa is trying to defend but Cucumber has an arm under the chin now! Mozapa grimaces and is forced to tap out!
