Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fancy Feast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Fancy Feast has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Fancy Feast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cedric Wright!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feast gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wright is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Feast wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wright manages to pass to side control.
Wright moves into full mount! Feast won't be happy about that!
Feast's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Wright is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Feast can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Feast looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Feast tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wright paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Feast wants to clinch up but Wright keeps it at a distance.

Wright avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Feast is looking to clinch but Wright is avoiding it.

Feast tries to close the distance and clinch but Wright swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fancy Feast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wright drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Wright is working to tighten is grip on Feast's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Feast has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Wright is really squeezing tight and eventually Feast passes out! Wright breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
