Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Godhe Sugly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jank Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sugly's entrance music is Hedwig's Theme. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Godhe Sugly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jank Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sugly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevens's waist but Stevens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sugly off to one side.
Sugly slips a jab and a cross from Stevens.
Sugly lands a high kick to the side of Stevens's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sugly dives into guard, looking to finish.
It looks like Jank Stevens has been cut.
Sugly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sugly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stevens is keeping the position for now.
Sugly is pushing down on Stevens's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stevens is fighting to maintain full guard but Sugly has managed to sneak the leg through.
Stevens manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Jank Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sugly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stevens tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sugly was well out of range. Poor timing from Stevens.
Stevens throws a right hand that Sugly ducks under and follows up with a left that Sugly also avoids with ease.
A combination from Stevens does no damage.
Sugly throws a leg kick that misses.
Sugly gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Stevens throws a series of punches but Sugly moves out of range.
Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.

Some wild striking there from Stevens.
Sugly throws a push kick but Stevens slaps the foot to one side.
Sugly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Stevens.
Stevens fails to land with a series of punches.
Sugly throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Stevens is trying to break the clinch but Sugly has him pressed against the cage.
Sugly tries to land a knee to the head but Stevens blocks with his arms.
Sugly misses with a knee strike.
Stevens is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Sugly tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stevens just stands there and leans against the cage.

Sugly can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Godhe Sugly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stevens is trying to break free.

Sugly tries to land a knee to the head but Stevens blocks with his arms.
Sugly is stalling here.
Sugly lands a nice knee to the body.
Sugly avoiding damage.
Sugly using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stevens has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Sugly ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sugly no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Stevens must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sugly lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stevens!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stevens can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sugly looking for a guillotine from mount but Stevens is having none of it.
Stevens defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sugly.

Stevens can't escape the position.
Sugly wants to control the pace but Stevens is squirming around nicely.
Sugly is going olschool here, as he tries to force Stevens to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Stevens shrugs it off.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sugly has control of Stevens's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Stevens regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sugly tries to control but Stevens wriggling away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sugly with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Stevens tries to lock up and control but Sugly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Godhe Sugly dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Jank Stevens's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Stevens looks to land a combination but Sugly avoids it well.
Stevens tries to bum rush Sugly with a series of wild strikes but Sugly uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sugly.
Stevens fails to land with a series of punches.
Stevens swats away the attempt to clinch by Sugly.
Sugly looks to land a body kick but Stevens moved away.
Sugly shoots in but no luck this time.
Stevens throws a nice looking combination but Sugly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Stevens thows a left - swing and a miss!
A slapping leg kick lands for Sugly.
Stevens missing with a left hand there. Sugly was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sugly connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Stevens is breathing heavily.
A head kick from Sugly lands but Stevens takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sugly shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stevens but Stevens pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sugly throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sugly lands a nice looking kick to the body. Stevens takes a step back to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice body kick from Sugly.
Stevens misses with a few strikes there.
Stevens takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Sugly looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stevens!
Sugly tries to control but Stevens wriggling away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sugly tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Sugly working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Stevens turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Sugly off and cradles Stevens's limp body as Sugly celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Godhe Sugly!
