Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dado Mata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yas Uru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mata comes to the cage accompanied by 和楽器バンド / 千本桜. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dado Mata!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yas Uru!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Uru crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mata - the referee stops the clock and Uru gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mata. Uru manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Uru leaves Mata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Uru counters with a one-two to the body.

enabling Mata to counter with a crisp jab.

Mata feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Urus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A nice side step and Uru releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Uru lets loose with a powerful body kick. Mata will feel that in the morning.
Mata stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Uru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Uru leaves Mata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And Uru responds with a good body kick, but Mata manages to step out the way in time.
Uru fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mata has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Mata shoots for a takedown but Uru saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Uru throws out a counter right but Mata avoids it with no problem.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mata shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Uru as he jumps to the side.

Uru flicks out a counter leg kick but Mata steps away.
Uru gets cracked there but stands up to it.

and Uru counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Uru enables Mata to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Uru manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mata shoots in looking for a takedown. Uru tries to sprawl out of it but Mata keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Uru manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Yas Uru.
I think Uru has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Yas Uru spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
