Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Corner Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Blair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Blair will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Corner Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Blair!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Blair with that takedown attempt.
Stone throws the kick towards the body but Blair avoids it.
Stone misses the shot to the body.
Blair thows a body kick. Stone tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Blair fails with the takedown.
Stone pivots, looking for a leg kick but Blair is out of range and Stone settles back down.
Chris Blair seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stone has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stone tries a body shot but Blair blocks it.

Stone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blair avoids a punch combination nicely.

Blair pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Blair misses with a few strikes there.
Stone slips a jab from Blair.
Blair wants to clinch but Stone slips to the side

and Stone counters with a shoot takedown. Blair fights it but they end up in guard.
Stone wants to stand and escape but instead Blair has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blair stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Blair stands up and waves to Stone to follow him.
Blair lands a head kick. Stone smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Stone tries to work over Blair's front leg with a kick but Blair checks it.
Blair goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Stone moves out of range of the leg kick from Blair.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Blair throws a head kick but Stone moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Stone shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blair's guard.
Stone slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Blair is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Blair is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Blair, up you get!
Stone tries to clinch up.
Stone throws a lazy body kick
enabling Blair to counter with a crisp jab.
Stone uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blair.
Blair checks the leg kick nicely there.

Stone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Corner Stone dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Blair lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Blair circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stone swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Blair looks to land a body kick but Stone moved away.

Stone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Stone stands up from mount. Strange move.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Blair fails with the takedown.
Blair shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stone as he avoids it easily.
Stone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blair moves out of range as Stone throws a body kick.
Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Blair comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Some wild striking there from Blair.
Blair shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Stone counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Corner Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Blair.
Blair is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blair punching from the bottom.

Stone decides to return to a standing position.

Stone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Blair is trying to escape the mount.

Blair is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Blair is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Blair squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Stone is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Blair misses with an uppercut.
Blair lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stone circles away quickly and effectively.
Blair checks a leg kick.
Stone misses with a low kick.
Blair fails with a takedown attempt.
Blair tries to land a front kick but Stone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Corner Stone dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Stone misses with an attempted mid kick.

Stone feints and as Blair raises his hands in defense, Stone changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Stone decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Blair, up you get!
Stone tries to clinch up
and Blair counters with a thumping low kick.
Blair throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Stone is looking to clinch but Blair is avoiding it.
Corner Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Stone misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Blair.
Blair misses with the combination.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Stone.
Blair is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stone has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Blair takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Blair bucks up and tries to throw Stone off but instead Stone has got his back!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blair is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Blair is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Blair rolls, trying to escape but Stone keeps control of the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Stone's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Blair is trying to break free.
A lull in the action here.
Stone lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Blair wants to get back to his feet.
Stone has the hooks in. Blair is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Stone scores with punches to the body.
Chris Blair has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Stone controlling the positon.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Blair is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Stone manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
