The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira jabs Bronie right on the nose. Bronie blinks but takes it well.
Teixeira has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Harambe Remembrance Hall in the buildup to the fight.
A jab from Teixeira finds it's way through Bronie's defenses.
Teixeira misses with a hook. Bronie ducked under it nicely.
Bronie drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Teixeira defends it well.
Teixeira throws a shot to the body.
Bronie throws a right hand that Teixeira ducks under and follows up with a left that Teixeira also avoids with ease.
Teixeira wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Teixeira blocks a head kick by Bronie.
Bronie takes one to the chin there.
Bronie goes for a double leg but Teixeira avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Teixeira continues to drive forward.
Teixeira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bronie was well out of range. Poor timing from Teixeira.
Bronie with the counter takedown but Teixeira avoids it easily.

Bronie lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Bronie tries to keep at a distance but Teixeira has taken the fight into the clinch.
Teixeira lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Teixeira throws an elbow but it misses.
Teixeira scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Teixeira blocks an elbow strike from Bronie.
A right handed body shot lands from Teixeira.
Bronie creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Teixeira lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Teixeira lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bronie backwards.
Bronie is still on wobbly legs! Can Teixeira finish him?
Teixeira digs a right hand into Bronie's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Bronie's gas tank.

Teixeira throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bronies head.
Bronie tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Teixeira's elbow.
Teixeira avoids a wild elbow strike from Bronie.
Bronie tries to break the clinch but Teixeira is controlling the position.
Teixeira lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bronie backwards.
Teixeira gets through Bronie's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A right handed body shot lands from Teixeira.
Bronie is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Teixeira is defending well.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Teixeira takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Teixeira seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Teixeira lands an uppercut.
Teixeira creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Bronie with a big uppercut! Bronie tries to clinch up but Teixeira pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Bronie to the mat! Bronie covers up and Teixeira unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
