Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Booth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boris Laine!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Booth swats away the attempt to clinch by Laine.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Booth, right into the meat.
Booth loads up on a big right hand but Laine slips the punch.
Laine takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Laine looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Laine walks forward, straight into a front kick from Booth.
Laine slips a jab from Booth.
Laine throws a series of punches but Booth moves out of range.
Booth swats away the attempt to clinch by Laine.
Laine tries to clinch up
and Booth counters with a big head kick but Laine shrugs it off.
Booth ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Laine defending well as Booth loads up on a big left hand.
Booth throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Laine swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Booth.
Booth throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Laine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Booth swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice shot lands for Booth.
Laine gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Laine is rocked!
Laine clinches up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Laine seems to have recovered his senses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Laine.
Booth pushes Laine back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Laine misses with the head strike.
Booth lands a hook that snaps the head of Laine backwards.
Booth breaks from the clinch.
Laine connects with a single shot there.
Laine has Booth up against the cage in a clinch.

Laine working aggressively here.
Laine throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Booths head.
Booth lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Booth fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Booth lands a body shot in the clinch.
Laine lands a nice uppercut.
Booth throws a big uppercut that drops Laine! More strikes from Booth and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Laine lies dazed against the cage as Booth celebrates with his cornermen!
