The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Denderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wade circles away quickly and effectively.

Denderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Wade has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Denderson is on him like a limpet, forcing Wade back against the cage.
Denderson lands a shoulder strike.
Wade wants to get back to striking at distance but Denderson won't allow it.
Denderson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wade pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wade slips under a jab from Denderson.
Denderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wade fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Denderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Denderson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Denderson has his takedown stuffed
and Wade connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wade throws an overhand right that lands on Denderson's shoulder, as Denderson tries to avoid the shot.
A swing and a miss from Wade.
Denderson feints the counter takedown.
A jab lands there for Wade.
Wade cracks a nice hook into Denderson's ribs.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wade cracks Denderson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Denderson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wade finish him?

Denderson is rocked!
Denderson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Wade points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Denderson wakes up just in time to hear Wade thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
