Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uber Reem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jhefersson Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jhefersson Rodrigues was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reem closes the distance and clinches.
Reem throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reem as he jumps to the side.

Reem swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rodrigues makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Reem here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Rodrigues has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reem uses from the top position.

Rodrigues has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Reem is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rodrigues.
