Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rhino Thesaurus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan McConor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thesaurus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Thesaurus defending well as McConor loads up on a big left hand.
Thesaurus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thesaurus lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Thesaurus.
Thesaurus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

McConor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thesaurus quickly recovers to half guard.
Thesaurus won't allow McConor to pass to mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McConor is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thesaurus is just riding it out for now. McConor eventually gives up the hold.

Thesaurus is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Still in half guard, McConor seems content to control.
McConor is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Thesaurus is looking for a sweep. McConor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

McConor is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Thesaurus's shoulder. That is not cool.

Thesaurus is not content to let McConor control the position.
McConor in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Thesaurus on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Thesaurus is trying to control McConor's posture but McConor avoids it.
Thesaurus tries to improve position but can't.
McConor is chipping away with strikes.
Thesaurus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McConor wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
McConor tries to move to mount but Thesaurus blocks the move with his legs.
Thesaurus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

McConor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thesaurus is looking to regain half guard here but McConor keeps moving and retains side control.

Thesaurus is looking to improve his position but McConor isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, McConor cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oh Thesaurus is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
McConor lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Thesaurus! McConor sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Thesaurus and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
