Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michio Kaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anders Petersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaku comes to the cage accompanied by We will rock you. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petersen throws a series of strikes that have Kaku backpedaling.
Kaku fails to land the takedown.
Some wild striking there from Petersen.
Kaku swings for the body but Petersen moves out of range.
Petersen lands with an uppercut that bounces Kaku off the cage and back into range.
Petersen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
A punch combination from Petersen misses.
Kaku tries to close the distance and clinch but Petersen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kaku is standing up over Petersen. Petersen looks to escape but Kaku dives into side control.
Petersen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kaku postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Petersen looks a forlorn figure.

Kaku lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Kaku lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Kaku unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Petersen wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Kaku celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
