Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luta Paulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Sands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bobby Sands!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sands takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sands misses with a takedown attempt
and Paulo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Paulo scores with the left hand. Sands knows he should have avoided that one.
Sands throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Paulo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sands is in Paulo's guard.
Paulo pushes Sands off and scrambles back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Paulo connects with a body shot.
Bobby Sands seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Paulo. No joy for Sands on that attempt.
Sands gets a takedown into half guard.
Sands seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Paulo is trying to stand back up but Sands is controlling him
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sands lands strikes from half guard.
Sands working Paulo over with strikes.
Sands stops Paulo from getting back to his feet.
Sands seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paulo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sands looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Paulo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sands is working for a submission of some sort.
Paulo wants to get back to his feet.
Sands seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Sands is trying to control the action in half guard but Paulo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Sands is trying to work for a kimura but Paulo is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sands landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Paulo is looking to escape.
Sands working Paulo over with strikes.
Paulo tries to kick Sands off in order to stand up. Sands Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Sands is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Paulo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sands gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Paulo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sands lets go of the hold and Paulo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bobby Sands!
After winning the bout, Bobby Sands thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
