The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freddy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Freddy there as he acknowledges the shot.

Freddy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Runt's guard.
Freddy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Freddy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Freddy passes Runt's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Runt wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Freddy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Runt is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Freddy scores with a couple of nice shots.
Runt wants to control but Freddy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Freddy trying to pass the guard but Runt defending well.
Freddy is controlling the pace.
Freddy winds up and cracks Runt with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Freddy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Runt's head.
Runt won't allow Freddy to pass to mount.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Freddy slips a nice elbow through Runt's hands, connecting with Runt's forehead.
Freddy is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Runt tries to hold on but Freddy postures up.
Runt takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Freddy landing strikes, looking to finish!

Runt is looking to get to half guard.

Freddy wants to finish this one by submission but Runt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Freddy.
Freddy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Runt looks a forlorn figure.
Runt is trying desperately to improve position.
Freddy controlling from mount.

Freddy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Freddy has isolated one of Runt's arms. Runt looking to fight him off but Freddy twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
