PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Rad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassit Heiluu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heiluu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kerrankin Tarpeekseen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rad throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Heiluu was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Heiluu rushes Rad and presses him up against the cage.
Rad lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Heiluu.
Heiluu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rad walks away with a smile on his face. Heiluu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Rad really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Heiluu has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Factory. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Heiluu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Heiluu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rad wants to slow Heiluu down by chopping away at his legs.
Rad does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rad thumps Heiluu with a low kick.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rad here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
