The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Flores fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McGee sprawls well initially but Flores persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Flores's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Flores looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McGee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

McGee is taking a breather. Flores says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

McGee is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Flores has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. McGee is looking to defend but Flores has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for McGee! Flores pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, McGee taps out and this one is all over!

Ric Flores really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that M.O. Fight Wear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
