The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oliveira throws a low kick, looking for Davis's leg but Davis calmly moves out of range.
A decent looking cross lands there for Oliveira.

Davis has Oliveira up against the cage in a clinch.

Oliveira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davis avoids it really well and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A decent looking cross lands there for Davis.
Davis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Davis lands a big head kick that sends Oliveira tumbling to the mat! Davis takes a step backwards and waves Oliveira back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oliveira is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Davis throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Davis! Oliveira is out on his feet! Davis rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Oliveira is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Oliveira is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
