The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kandle does no damage.
As Kandle tries to get set, Sims tries to push him back and clinch up but Kandle manages to avoid the attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Kandle. Those never looked like landing.
Sims appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Kandle looks to land a combination but Sims avoids it well.
Kandle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It appears Sims was looking to counter with a kick there.
Kandle misses with a low kick.
Sims bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sims wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Kandle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kandle drops Sims with a beautiful combination! Sims stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kandle is looking for the KO!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kandle pushes Sims up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Sims is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kandle manages to break the clinch.
Kandle misses with a kick to the body.
Kandle shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sims takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Kandle sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sims bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
