Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Armenian Fire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fire closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jackson did well to prevent Fire getting side control.

Fire is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fire connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.
Jackson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Fire shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Jackson throws a series of punches but Fire avoids them all with ease.

Fire is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fire down to the mat. Fire avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson stalks Fire and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Fire's face. Fire staggers backwards, shaken.
Fire is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jackson.

Fire is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.

enabling Fire to counter with a crisp jab.

Fire feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bryan Jackson will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Fire sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard.

Jackson is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Fire has taken his back.

Fire has got one arm under Jackson's chin. This could be trouble... Jackson trying to control the other hand but Fire gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jackson has tapped out! The fight is over!
