The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biernat tries to clinch but Decker is having none of it.
A slapping body kick lands there for Biernat.

Decker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Biernat to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Decker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Biernat lands an uppercut.

Decker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Biernat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Biernat closes the distance and clinches.
Biernat prevents a takedown attempt there.
Decker tries to score a body lock takedown but Biernat shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Biernat tries to land a knee to the head but Decker blocks with his arms.

Biernat gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Decker preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Biernat is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Decker has managed to free his arm - good work.

Decker has one foot on Biernat's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Biernat throws a sloppy head kick and Decker moves out of range easily.

Decker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Decker stands up and waves to Biernat to follow him.
Biernat tries to clinch but Decker moves out of range.
Decker seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Mateusz Biernat seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Decker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Biernat lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Decker can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Biernat and Decker drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Biernat.
