Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Spencer Greer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Murad Efendi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Spencer Greer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Murad Efendi!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greer drives through and clinches with Efendi against the cage.
Greer is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Efendi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Efendi pulls guard effortlessly.

Efendi working for submissions but it's allowed Greer to get to half guard.
Greer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Efendi is looking for a sweep. Greer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Efendi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Greer.
Efendi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Greer tries to stand but can't do so whilst Efendi controls his leg.

Greer is nestled in close to Efendi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Greer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Greer slips a nice elbow through Efendi's hands, connecting with Efendi's forehead.

Efendi throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Greer decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Greer has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Efendi is on him like a limpet, forcing Greer back against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Efendi successfully pulls guard.
Efendi wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Greer is now in half guard.
Efendi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Efendi.
Greer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Greer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Greer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Efendi has momentary wrist control but Greer slips an elbow through the middle.

Greer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Greer prevents Efendi from getting back to his feet.
Greer lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Greer chips away with some ground and pound.
Greer is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Efendi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Greer decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Efendi, up you get!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Efendi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Greer counters with a nice body shot.
Greer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Efendi can do to turn this around?
Efendi is breathing heavily.

Efendi feints and as Greer raises his hands in defense, Efendi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Greer is looking for a triangle but Efendi pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greer has his foot on Efendi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Efendi works his way back into a safe position though.
Efendi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Greer is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Greer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Efendi defends it easily.

Greer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Efendi has taken the fight to the clinch.

Efendi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Greer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Spencer Greer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Efendi wants to control from the top but Greer keeps moving.

Greer has control of Efendi's left arm, preventing Efendi from doing any damage.

Greer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Greer is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Efendi defends well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close second round but Murad Efendi will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Efendi has Greer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Efendi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Greer tumbling to the mat - Efendi dives into Greer's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Greer lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Greer prevents Efendi from improving his position.
Greer working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Greer stands up and beckons Efendi to join him on the feet.
Efendi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Greer blocks the body kick.

Greer closes the distance and clinches.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Greer has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Efendi regains guard immediately.

Efendi pushes Greer off and gets back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Murad Efendi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
