Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Cucumber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall slips a jab and a cross from Cucumber.
Hall drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cucumber sprawls and moves away.
Hall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cucumber pinned against the cage. Cucumber gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Larry Cucumber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Cucumber is predictable there
and Hall counters with a series of strikes. Cucumber will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cucumber shoots for a double leg takedown but Hall sprawls well. He's pushed Cucumber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Trevor Hall will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cucumber can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cucumber keeps control of Hall as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cucumber jumps guard but Hall stands there with Cucumber around his waist. Cucumber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Cucumber rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cucumber is defended easily by Hall.

Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hall distracts Cucumber with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
