The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lange stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lange wants it to stay on the feet.
Lange is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Carter with a body shot.

Lange gets a takedown into half guard.
Carter scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Lange manages to mount him!
Carter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lange on the ground.

Lange is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Carter is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Carter flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lange anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Carter and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lange slips an arm under Carter chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lange has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lange is squeezing on Carter like an anaconda would it's prey. Carter fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
