Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kevin Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt has his takedown stuffed
letting Black counter with a right hand.

Hunt clinches up against the cage.

Black gets control of Hunt's arms and successfully pulls guard. Black will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Black lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Hunt preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Black won't allow Hunt to get back to his feet.
Black throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Black drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Black jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hunt has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Black landing with the ground and pound.
Black cracks Hunt with a solid left hand.
Hunt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Black. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Black stands up from Hunt's guard - Black perhaps looking for a knockout.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hunt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Black closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage.
Black is trying to push Hunt away but Hunt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hunt is working for takedown but Black is calmly controlling the position for now.

and Black counters with a big head kick but Hunt shrugs it off.
Black tries to clinch up but Hunt circles away and keeps his distance.

Black keeps control of Hunt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Black jumps guard and drags Hunt to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Black pulls Hunt in to control the position.

Black trying to keep a closed guard but Hunt is proving a slippery customer.
Black is really struggling to control Hunt but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Black is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hunt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hunt lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Black backwards.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Black tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hunt just stands there and leans against the cage.
Black can't break the clinch.
Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hunt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hunt prevents a takedown attempt there.
Hunt is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Black keeps control of Hunt as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hunt lands with a left to the head.
Black tries to pull guard but Hunt won't allow it.

Black fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hunt is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Black is breathing heavily.
Black has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hunt is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Black will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hunt moves into the clinch.
Black tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hunt smiles and moves away.

Hunt has managed to clinch.
Black keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hunt's efforts to push away.
Still in the clinch, Hunt scores with a nice short uppercut.
Black is looking for a takedown.
Hunt is trying to drag Black to the mat but Black just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Black has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hunt avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hunt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Black has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hunt uses from the top position.
