Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Daniels had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Alves is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Daniels Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Alves's back instead.

Alves turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Daniels off and cradles Alves's limp body as Daniels celebrates with his corner.
