Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Freddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Teddy Freddy has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Teddy Freddy seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar throws a combination that misses
and Freddy counters with a series of strikes. Lesnar will be more careful next time no doubt.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Lesnar is taking a breather. Freddy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Lesnar is going to stand back up.

Lesnar is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Freddy's shoulder. That is not cool.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lesnar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Lesnar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lesnar wants to finish this one by submission but Freddy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lesnar.
Lesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Freddy is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Freddy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lesnar to keep the fight standing.

Freddy goes for a double leg but Lesnar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lesnar continues to drive forward.
Lesnar is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Freddy won't be happy with that.
Freddy wants to get back to his feet but Lesnar is dominant here and he's now got Freddy's back!
Lesnar has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Freddy's body.
Lesnar connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Freddy to escape the position.

Freddy is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lesnar gets his way!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
