Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Penzenskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Gorshenin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dmitry Gorshenin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorshenin moves into range and clinches up with Penzenskiy.
Penzenskiy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gorshenin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gorshenin prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gorshenin tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Gorshenin gets control of Penzenskiy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gorshenin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Gorshenin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Penzenskiy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Penzenskiy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Penzenskiy wants to control from the top but Gorshenin keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Penzenskiy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penzenskiy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gorshenin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Penzenskiy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gorshenin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Penzenskiy, pushing him back against the cage.
Gorshenin is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Penzenskiy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gorshenin wants the takedown. Penzenskiy is fighting it off but Gorshenin persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Penzenskiy's guard against the cage.
Penzenskiy is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gorshenin rolls with it to try and escape but Penzenskiy cranks on the arm and Gorshenin is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
