Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Dick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dick comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor throws a series of punches but Dick moves out of range.

Dick gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dick tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taylor smiles and moves away.
Dick looks for a takedown but Taylor sprawls well.

Dick shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dick showed some decent athleticism there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dick seems to be working for a kimura but Taylor defends the submission attempt.

Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dick. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Taylor is looking for a sweep. Dick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Taylor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Taylor lands a with a good body shot.
Dick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Taylor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dick connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Taylor momentarily.

and Taylor counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Dick is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are battling for position here. Dick manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sean Taylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
