The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar misses with a few strikes there.
Spence changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Spence takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Spence dives in and grabs Edgar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Edgar pushes down on Spence's head and hops out.
Edgar pulls out of a head kick attempt.

It looks like Lee Spence has been cut.
Edgar looks to land a combination. Spence sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Spence counters with a shoot takedown. Edgar fights it but they end up in guard.
Oh Spence is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Edgar wants to stand up but Spence is controlling him.

Spence seems to have got his legs back now.
Spence with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Spence loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Edgar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Spence is controlling him.
Spence drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spence jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Spence throws a big right hand that misses.
Spence drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Spence as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Edgar screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Spence! Nice submission victory there!
