Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Travis Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaeger throws a head kick but Slice moves out of range.
Slice fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slice doesn't manage to clinch there - Jaeger circles away.
Jaeger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Slice tries to avoid it but Jaeger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Slice to the ground. Slice escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jaeger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Slice throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Slice throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A combination from Slice does no damage.
The fight stays on the outside here - Slice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slice throws a lazy right hand but Jaeger sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Don Slice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jaeger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jaeger blocks a jab.
Jaeger shoots in but Slice avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slice tries to clinch there but Jaeger circles away.

Jaeger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jaeger off to one side.

Slice drives through and clinches with Jaeger against the cage.

Jaeger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Slice finds it's way round the side to connect with Jaeger's head.

Jaeger creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Slice sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Jaeger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slice keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Jaeger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Jaeger counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Slice is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Slice has had enough of the clinch but Jaeger keeps him there for the moment.
Slice has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jaeger is trying to keep an underhook but Slice manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Slice lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

and Jaeger counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Slice throws a combination that misses
and Jaeger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Slice bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jaeger's guard.

Jaeger has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Slice should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jaeger has tightened it up now! Slice should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
