Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milcin Arnautovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milcin Arnautovic told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arnautovic falls off balance throwing a combination
and McCarthy counters with a nice uppercut.
McCarthy fails to land with a series of punches.
Arnautovic stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Arnautovic wants it to stay on the feet.
Arnautovic tries to bum rush McCarthy with a series of wild strikes but McCarthy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McCarthy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Arnautovic avoids it really well and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McCarthy misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCarthy wants to get back to striking at distance but Arnautovic won't allow it.
Arnautovic lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Arnautovic gets control of McCarthy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Arnautovic will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McCarthy would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Arnautovic is looking for a triangle but McCarthy pushes his legs off easily.

McCarthy stands up and waves to Arnautovic to follow him.

Arnautovic darts in and clinches McCarthy up against the cage.

McCarthy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Arnautovic is just too persistent for him and manages to trip McCarthy to the mat. McCarthy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Arnautovic connects with a couple of short punches.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arnautovic with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Arnautovic is in close to McCarthy's body, working some short punches and elbows.

McCarthy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Arnautovic's best efforts.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McCarthy wants to get back to his feet.

Arnautovic is trying to work for a kimura but McCarthy is defending well.

McCarthy has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Arnautovic escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Arnautovic!
Arnautovic gets to mount! McCarthy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

McCarthy sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
McCarthy tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Arnautovic manages to move to mount!

McCarthy is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Arnautovic lands with some vicious ground and pound - can McCarthy hang on?

Arnautovic is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McCarthy to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McCarthy shrugs it off.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCarthy is trying to get back to his feet but Arnautovic has full control of the position and if anything, McCarthy has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Arnautovic has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for McCarthy! Can he survive? No! He's out! Arnautovic gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
