Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Radeon Lafleur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Franky Fire!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lafleur shoots in for a double leg but Fire sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lafleur shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fire manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lafleur postures up and lands a big shot to Fire's brow.
Lafleur prevents Fire from getting back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lafleur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lafleur lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Fire really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lafleur. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lafleur is standing up over Fire. Fire looks to escape but Lafleur dives into side control.
Lafleur grinds an elbow into Fire's temple.
Lafleur is working Fire over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lafleur cracks Fire with an elbow. That is naaassty.


Fire is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lafleur sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Fire is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Lafleur definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lafleur in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Fire looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Lafleur turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
