Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emmitt Powell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Beattie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dan Beattie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Beattie!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powell scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Powell scoring with punches and elbows.
Powell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Powell ducks straight into an uppercut from Beattie and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Powell manages to regain guard straight away.
It looks like Emmitt Powell has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Beattie drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Powell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Beattie has Powell in his guard.
Powell cracks Beattie with a solid left hand.
Beattie wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Powell manages to pass to side control.
Powell really is a fat lump.
Beattie trying to control from the bottom.
Powell missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Powell is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Beattie tries to get to full guard but Powell has control of the leg.
Beattie misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Powell is working for a submission of some sort.
Beattie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Powell pulls his head out easily.
Powell is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Powell is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Beattie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Powell.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Powell thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Beattie's head.
Powell is looking for a kimura but Beattie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Powell to get the leverage.
Powell is breathing heavily.
Beattie wants to control but Powell is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Beattie looking for submissions off his back.
Beattie is pressing down on Powell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Beattie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Powell defends well.
Powell landing some decent shots from guard.

Powell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Powell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Beattie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Powell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Beattie is tightening it up a little... Powell has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Powell reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Powell taps out! Nice BJJ there by Beattie!
