The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baumgartner fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Baumgartner works Garcilazo's body with a nice hook.
Baumgartner thows a left - swing and a miss!
It looked like Garcilazo was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Baumgartner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baumgartner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Garcilazo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Baumgartner misses with a shot to the body
and Garcilazo counters with a three punch combo that has Baumgartner backing up. Baumgartner nods at Garcilazo to acknowledge the strikes.
Garcilazo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baumgartner to score with a decent uppercut.
Garcilazo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baumgartner.

Garcilazo moves into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Garcilazo swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Garcilazo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Baumgartner pulls Garcilazo in close to his closed guard and prevents Garcilazo from doing any damage or advancing position.

Baumgartner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Garcilazo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Baumgartner is tightening it up a little... Garcilazo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Garcilazo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Garcilazo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Baumgartner!
