Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davies comes to the cage accompanied by waaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Scott Davies has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Monty Burns!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch but Burns swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Burns paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Davies throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Davies fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Davies looks for the body kick but Burns saw that one coming.
Burns keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Davies shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burns pinned against the cage. Burns gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Davies has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Burns is trying to keep an underhook but Davies manages to get the takedown into half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Burns's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Monty Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
