The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kizibuki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kurogane Kawasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kizibuki tries to clinch but Kawasaki is having none of it.

Kizibuki shoots for a takedown but Kawasaki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kawasaki controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kawasaki connects with a couple of short punches.
Kizibuki is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kawasaki is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kawasaki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kizibuki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kizibuki lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Kawasaki told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Kizibuki has his feet on Kawasaki's thighs here. He's pushed Kawasaki off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Kawasaki screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
