The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mulaney unleashes a big counter combination but Brig bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Mulaney throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brig was covering up waiting for the punch and Mulaney finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Brig knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mulaney on the ground.

Brig pushes Mulaney away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mulaney gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
