Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliver Bush has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oliver Bush!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Terry Lee!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bush gets the takedown into side control.
Bush misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bush tries to score with some ground and pound. Lee controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Bush is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bush has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bush tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lee smiles and moves away.

Lee goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Bush decides to pull guard.
Lee throws an elbow that misses. Bush uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lee's guard. Nice move by Bush!

Lee wants to stand and escape but Bush is having none of it.

Bush scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bush is controlling him.
Bush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bush accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Lee closes the distance and pushes Bush back into the cage.
Lee is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bush is defending well for now.

Lee fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bush, pushing him back against the cage.

Bush has hold of one of Lee's legs. Lee is fighting the takedown attempt but Bush gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Lee throws a series of punches but Bush moves out of range.

Bush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bush escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Oliver Bush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lee has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bush is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bush working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bush looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bush seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oliver Bush overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bush connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
